WikiMaas is a collaborative project to build a free guide for Maastricht. It is a wiki, like Wikipedia. That means that everyone can add, remove, and modify information. It's a compilation of cafes, clubs and shops, gossip and upcoming events. So far we have 631 articles, written and edited by 63 people from around the globe living in Maastricht.
There has been released an online version of Ekoplan Maastricht. Ekoplan Maastricht is a map with sustainable location in Maastricht. Check it out at ecomap.org/maastricht.
In the News
- Numbers - (2008-02-14) - You can find out everything about all neighbourhoods in Maastricht at [http://www.cbsinuwbuurt.nl/]. Income, amount of people living there, etc.
- Log in - You need to log in now to be able to edit pages of Wikimaas. We changed this in order to get rid of the security questions when editing pages. You only have to answer a security question upon creating an account now. Creating an account is free, easy and fast. You don't even have to provide your e-mail address if you don't want to!

The basic idea behind WikiMaas
The wiki allows you to correct and add information. We started with nothing, and there 631 pages now created by 63 registered people and many visitors. If every visitor donates some of her/his knowledge, we can make a very useful guide. Feel free to change and add information. A red link means a page doesn't exist (yet); if you click on the link you can create the page. You can learn about the syntax by reading the Text formatting rules and experiment in the Sandbox.
